4th of July weekend

We had a fun weekend all over the state. We headed up to our friend's cottage, and on the way stopped to visit with Jason's sister and the kids at his mom's house on Friday. The boys ran around the yard with Aidan and Anesah for a bit and then we were on our way up to the cottage. We had an entire weekend of beautiful sunshine and tons of fun on the lake.
The boys had their first boat and jet ski rides and I think they're in love. They're not a huge fan of being in the lake too high, but that was expected. We had life vests on them anytime they were outside by the docks since this was their first time around a body of water like this. The boys are so unpredictable sometimes, it was better safe than sorry!
It was SO nice to hang out with our friends who don't get to see very often, and the boys just loved playing with Layla who is the same age. We can't wait to go back, thanks Garber family!

We left the cottage this morning and headed out to my grandparents house out in the bay area, and my mom and Les came by too. We had a nice cookout for lunch and the boys loved running around the fun wooded yard that is immaculately landscaped by Grandma and Grandpa. It was such a great end to the weekend.

The boys have both said a new word or two over the weekend. Brady called out for Jax a few times outside, which was so great to hear! It sounds kinda like "Dax", so it's pretty close! Jax said shark pretty good, but I'm not sure if he'd say it unprompted, but he said it!
Jax started his vomiting cycle on Saturday morning right away when we woke up at the cottage. He had a few episodes here and there, but today he seemed to do pretty well. It was very mysterious why he started again, but then today both boys have a runny nose, so maybe his GI system reacted before the cold symptoms started. Who knows, it's so hard to ever tell! So I'll be hoping this is short lived and he's able to keep food down.

Otherwise, enjoy the MANY pictures!

Annie - I've follow you since the days on the bump and just wanted to say I'm glad things are going so well for you! Your boys are adorable.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Isn't it so nice when you can just go somewhere and have fun? That is something that I definetly took for granted in my pre-twin days. Oh, and your god daughter is so cute. She looks just like her mommy.
